L-Shaped Kitchens

L-shaped kitchens are functional, ergonomic and aesthetically-pleasing, working well in both small, closed rooms and large, open spaces. The L-shaped layout is popular because it optimises space and makes kitchens accessible and easy to use. At eba, we re-imagine the classic layout with our bespoke, high-end approach, ensuring your kitchen caters to your unique lifestyle.

An intelligent layout for ease of movement

Kitchens in L-shapes encourage an efficient 'activity triangle' between the sink, hob and fridge, which limits unnecessary to-ing and fro-ing and makes prepping meals much easier. The ergonomic layout facilitates movement and ensures everything is within easy reach.

At eba, we go one step further to improve the layout by making considerations based on your habits, posture and way of cooking. It’s these details that make the difference between a standard L-shaped kitchen and a high-end, bespoke kitchen built to meet your needs.

L-shaped kitchens particularly suit open spaces, especially in modern homes where the kitchen, dining room and living areas are blended into one. The L-shape subtly defines the space without closing it off, retaining the feeling of spaciousness.

Depending on your preferences, one of the sections of the 'L' can be used as a bar, an eating area or a large worktop where family and friends can sit and share moments with the cook. If there is available space, a central island can be added to increase storage and work space. This type of kitchen encourages ease of movement and a spirit of togetherness that we prioritise at eba.

Maximise storage space with an L-shaped kitchen

An L-shape layout offers exceptional potential for storage space, notably by making use of corners, which can be overlooked in other configurations. With intelligent storage systems, it’s possible to use every last inch of space.

At eba, we also add innovative solutions such as built-in lighting, plinth drawers and pocket door units. Everything is well-thought-out to ensure that your kitchen is as practical as it is stylish.

Our L-shaped kitchen projects

Every project at eba is unique. From conception to installation, we consider each stage in great detail to ensure that the final result is aesthetic, ergonomic and durable. Our bespoke approach enables us to work within all the technical constraints of a room whilst enhancing its space and light.
