The eba universe continues to expand internationally, this time with the opening of a new showroom in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Located at 7069-12 Al Takhasoussi, in the capital’s Al-Rahmaniyyah district, the immersive experience showroom is 250m2 on the ground floor and 100m2 on the first. The showroom showcases everything on offer at eba: high-end kitchens, elegant living spaces, clever storage solutions and imaginative office and utility room designs.

Santos kitchens take pride of place in the eba Riyadh showroom, showcasing their modularity, clean lines and exceptional finish qualities. They are accompanied by a comprehensive selection of furniture and accessories, including tables by eba, seats from Bensen, Gazzda and Profim, as well as Kateha rugs.

It’s a space created for contemporary design and know-how, where visitors can find living space designs that combine aesthetics, functionality and high-quality materials.

An immersive exploration of the eba universe

On entering the showroom, visitors are welcomed by a large, inviting open-plan kitchen. This kitchen pairs SM Anthracite Grey and American Walnut in a composition that’s striking and sophisticated. The handleless column units, pocket doors and integrated electronic appliances highlight eba’s quest for efficiency, whilst the central island, extended with an American Walnut dining table, creates a social space for friends and family to gather.

A large glass door unit with natural wood veneer and smoked glass completes the space. LED lights built behind the shelving help the unit bring depth to the composition whilst showcasing glassware and everyday objects. 30mm-thick Helena Stone Gloss work surfaces from Dekton ensure a high-end finish, whilst the Torii chairs from Bensen lend a warm, artisanal touch to the first space in the eba Riyadh showroom.

Living spaces built to inspire

Continuing through the showroom, there are several different living spaces, each designed to create different ambiances and meet the differing demands of today’s interiors.

The first living space is a statement modern living room, with grey and black tones and architectural lines. The Silk Anthracite Grey wall panels are striking and bold, whilst the minimalist open shelves and the smoked glass display cabinets with wooden American Walnut interiors keep the space feeling elegant and refined.

The carefully selected furniture balances out the space, with contrasting materials, tones and shapes. The Silk Black thin metal structures of the low tables play against the generous light-coloured sofa to create a space that feels sophisticated and original.

In the second living room space, a TV zone is made up of modular units in the shade SM Sand Grey. This lacquer composition is made up of closed units below and above the TV, with open shelves on either side. The look is completed with chairs and a light wooden coffee table from Bensen, as well as a rug from Kateha. Each detail of this living room works together to create a stylish, cosy ambiance.

Behind the armchairs is a warm-toned, timeless bookcase built in natural Smoked Oak veneer. Ideal for all kinds of living spaces, the bookcase includes LED lighting and alternates between open and closed columns, allowing some items to be displayed whilst others can be hidden from view.

A multifunctional wood and grey kitchen

Opposite the second living room space is a kitchen built using SM Sand Grey, Smoked Oak and smoked glass finishes. This understated, natural kitchen appeals to visitors looking for a style that’s modern but inviting. The central island, with its generous proportions and plinth drawer units, maximises storage space. The glass door units, built with an LED lighting system, work with the light wooden dining table to create a space that’s functional and welcoming.

A premium utility room

A strength of the eba Riyadh showroom is its inclusion of spaces that aren’t always exhibited, such as this utility room. Installed behind a sliding door at the back of the kitchen, the dark Black Silk finish gives the space a refined look. The room has alternating column units, base units and open shelves with built-in lighting. It’s a space that is both functional and aesthetically-pleasing, with clean lines, invisible mechanisms and a durable 20mm-thick Silestone Romantic Ash worktop.

Spaces that play with contrasts

Still on the ground floor, a third kitchen has a mellow, modern feel using soft white and light wood tones. The mix of lacquered surfaces and natural wooden elements creates a subtle rhythm in the space. The Olive Ash veneer column units in the FINE series from Santos contrast with the floating base units in SM Pearl White lacquer from Santos' CUADRO series, and the 30mm-thick Dekton Taga Stonika worktop adds a chic, mineral touch. The overall composition comes together to illustrate the balance between functionality, luminosity and design characteristic of eba living spaces.

Behind this kitchen, a large open-plan space reveals two complementary ambiances. The first tempts with a bold intensity. A statement wall panel with floating units and open shelves in a deep SM India Red lacquer finish fills the space with character, whilst the designer seats, a low, black table and a textured rug ensure the composition feels modern and luxe.

Opposite the sofa, the glass door unit from the ALUM series with a modern black frame feels elegant and light. Integrated lighting plays with transparency, creating a subtle rhythm that naturally works with the large light oak table and the chairs from Bensen. The overall effect is a refined, inviting living space.

A sociable peninsula kitchen

At the back of the showroom, a final kitchen is distinguished by its layout, which includes a peninsula. The peninsula creates more storage whilst assuring a fluid circulation and optimal user comfort. Column units discretely house electronic appliances and add height to the space, whilst the wall panel with thin, back-lit open shelves displays everyday objects.

The area is dressed with a subtle mix of Mink Grey and Synchro Light Oak, creating a calm, elegant atmosphere. The peninsula, the focal point of the room, is used as a worktop, food prep space and socialising space.

A floor dedicated to professional spaces, meetings and materials

Upstairs, the showroom reveals a professional space with desks, meeting areas and workstations. The space is built to encourage creativity and the exchange of ideas, using the bright Pearl White finish for its units and deep Earth Walnut for shelving. Integrated storage solutions and smooth, minimalist surfaces ensure the space feels clean and elegant, with furniture from Gazzda, Profim and Okamura completing the design.

Visitors are able to see all available finishes in a sampling zone, including natural woods, matte lacquered finishes, laminates, stone and technical materials. Guests can touch, compare and select which materials they’d like to use in their upcoming project.
