Open kitchen with island,
table and sideboard
At the heart of this great space, the kitchen has been created to foster shared moments around the table. The kitchen furniture pieces designed by Santos contain the traditional essence of kitchens of old, adapting it to the needs and habits of the present. In this way, the furniture is perfectly integrated into the room’s rustic ambiance, defined by the thick stone walls and the wooden beams.

The ample spaces of the room allow for the inclusion of a large central island between the kitchen, the storage area and the dining room. The kitchen island’s worktop, made of Brazilian stone, is used to prepare meals, but also to set up the dishes or to use as an auxiliary table during breakfast.
The furniture pieces are integrated, and the storage solutions keep it all tidy and out of sight, enhancing that perception of neatness and openness of the space. This is the role of the column wardrobes, placed parallel to the kitchen island.
In the dining room, a handcrafted table and a sideboard are beside one another to create a warm and welcoming ambiance. The chairs and the Skan pendant lamps by Vibia –sporting a timeless and simple design– fit nicely within this unique interior that mixes tradition with modernity.
The top drawers, made of walnut wood, have a modular base over which one can place removable and interchangeable accessories such as cutlery and knife storage, spices, etc.
The plate rack accessory, with a natural walnut wood veneer, allows us to store the crockery safely. The wooden dividing boxes help section the space and organise the inside of the drawers.
One of the high-end furniture pieces has pocket doors, and includes a work area with lighting and power sockets for small appliances. The inner drawers ease organisation and the access to the contents within.
The sideboard has six glass cabinets with inner lighting for the shelves. Its lower cabinets have three storage levels with inside drawers.
